The Center for Intercultural Dialogue (CID) in the next period will implement the project “Green Monitor” through which will promote a series of activities that will contribute to raising environmental awareness, affirming green policies and promoting transparency and accountability of selected decision makers, locally and nationally through the platform www.greenmonitor.com.mk
The fast pace of modern life together with the use of modern technological tools can ignore the need to bring effective standards for environmental protection and that is exactly what political leaders and citizens must be a trigger to engage more actively in environmental protection and promotion. of green policies aimed at ensuring greater national development and a cleaner environment.
To achieve this goal, the Center for Intercultural Dialogue (CID) together with EDYN MKD will implement activities aimed at promoting political transparency and accountability on the one hand, raising environmental awareness through fact-checking and verified statements made by decision makers, and on the other hand, to encourage the cooperation of the political parties and to facilitate the dialogue between the young people and the elected officials through a series of trainings and workshops.
The project is available to all those who want to get involved and contribute to building a safe environment, applying the principles of accountability and transparency and encouraging the implementation of green policies that will benefit young people.
The project is supported by SlovakAid in North Macedonia and the European Youth Network for Democracy (EDYN).
