In the period March-May 2020 we did not stop the Civic Engagement for Intercultural Society project activities.
During this period were finalized most of the reports for the Needs assessment of the CRBC. More precisely there were finished the reports for the CRBCs in Kumanovo, Gostivar and Kichevo. The one for Kavadarci is still in process.
Furthermore, we had the online meetings with the students, professors and other employed representatives from the high schools in Kumanovo. As part of these meetings we have promoted the activities of the project and the way how they can join them. In addition, as a final product of these meetings is the mutual Facebook group in which will be posted the information for the further training’s and project activities.
In this period were opened two calls for online competitions too.
The first one is for the online drawing competition for the kids from 6th to 9th grade (primary schools) from Kumanovo. The topic on the drawing competition is “In which multi ethnic society do we live?”. The kids were able to use different drawing techniques in order to express their views/perceptions on this topic.
The second one was the online essay competition for the teenagers from 1st to 4th grade (high schools) from Kumanovo. The topic on the essay competition is “In what kind of multiethnic society do we live”. The teenagers were able through written form to express their views/perceptions on this topic.
During the beginning of June, there will be online voting for the drawings/essays. The top three drawings/essays will receive a symbolic prize.
