The pretty little town of Metlika – Slovenia was filled with YEU energy and superpower last week, as the first activity of the project “Superheroes of Climate Change” took place from 17th to 23rd of June. Participants from Italy, Germany, France, Tunisia, Serbia, Azerbaijan and Slovenia joined the first activity and kicked-off this great and green project with the YEU network.
“Superheroes of Climate Change” is a workplan funded by the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe. The project aims at tackling the climate crisis and mainstreaming the green agenda by creating a group of “Superheroes”, motivated youngsters willing to engage and raise awareness in their local communities about the urgency of the topic and the need for concrete and immediate action.
The second and next activity of the project will be organized in the framework of the 40th YEU Convention, dedicated to our beloved colleague and friend Vladimir Mitrovic. The activity is called “Telling a story”, as participants will be trained in communication strategies, storytelling techniques and other effective and interactive tools to engage with their target audience.
