The InfoPoint activity and final Conference of the project YOUth Ambassadors of Non-Formal Learning were held on the 20th and 26th of April 2022 in MultiКулти youthcenter in Kumanovo by our project coordinator Besart, together with our youthworker Natalija (who was selected as the Youth Ambassador and Job Shadower of the project YANFL).
The conference brought together participants and youngsters from different CSOs, high-schools, and youth workers. At the conference, many project results and conclusions were elaborated on. CID in the project implemented, 3 international mobility activities plus 2 Job shadowings lasting for 21 day (1 hosted in CID, and 1 sent abroad), 4 local workshops that included over 100 young people from different neighbourhoods.
Besides that, the conference discussed other activities like deliverables created within the project: research about valorization of NFL, catalogue of inspiring stories, toolkit of NFL, recommendations and the most important subject of the project, non-formal learning.
The project is based on Non-Formal Education and is working to develop the new methodology of the Youth Ambassadors of Non-Formal Education, trained youngsters who can use a peer-to-peer approach providing their experience to inspire other young people and relevant stakeholders in giving a higher credit and better use to NFL experiences.
The project aimed at promoting participation in Non-Formal Education activities and the power of validation and recognition of competencies acquired outside the formal education environment through an innovative methodology.
The project is financed by the Erasmus+ Programme of the EU.
