Center for Intercultural Dialogue (CID) together with partners, The Agency for Development and Cooperation CEREBRA and Youth for Exchange and Understanding (YEU), realized the training “Recognition of youth work through self-assessment” in the period from 12 to 17 January in Berovo.
The training gathered 15 participants who had the opportunity to learn about topics such as: what is youth work, what is the purpose of youth work, how to plan and implement workshops. The training was realized by methods of non-formal education where participants had the opportunity to share their experiences on given topics and participate in exercises in which they experienced real-life situations while practicing youth work.
The training aimed to acquaint participants with the basics of youth work as a profession, to contribute to the personal and social development of young people and provide them with tools necessary for the implementation of quality youth work in their local communities, and thus contribute to recognizing youth work in their countries.
