Social distance does not mean distancing yourself from all matters social. Here at Out of the Box International, we recognise the need for celebration and acknowledgement of results, where they are due.
The ceremony, which took place in Maison D’Istrie on the 4th of August gathered the winners and a small group of people to celebrate the achievements in inclusion, entrepreneurship and innovation.
This year, the jury was composed from the Board Members of Out of the Box International.

BEIT, ASBL for their projects aiming to provide the population with an alternative space to live together through culture. The BEIT CLUBs project aims to provide access to culture, art and a varied multicultural literature for all, with particular attention to the Middle East. Basim Akasha, and his initiative VOICE Mechelen, aiming to ease the integration of migrants into the community of Mechelen Region, Belgium, reaching about 885 people in the city of Hof van Nassau and the Mechelen region . African Gist, an organisation supporting young professionals and entrepreneurs from Africa and its diaspora using digital tools to grow their skills and boost their career or business. helping young professionals, organisations and small enterprises understand and develop their digital skills to support their professional, entrepreneurship and business ambitions. Feras Abo Dabboseh: founder of the first Arabic Bookstore in Brussels. “Lagrange Points” is a young NGO based in Brussels that was founded by a group of people who are interested and passionate in Arabic culture, comprised of students, university teachers, activists, writers and artists. The mission of “Lagrange Points” is to promote Arabic culture via books, in Arabic, and a selection of Arabic books translated into Dutch, French and English. During the event, the project “30 years of the Fall of the Wall – significance and lesson learned”was presented. The project is run by our partners European Project Association and supported by Europe for Citizens Programme.
