This past year has been different to any we have ever experienced. We went from transnational partner’s meeting to online partner’s meetings. We learnt new forms of communication and still we were able to overcome the different obstacles we faced.
Like every year, but especially this one, Out of The Box International wanted to recognise the huge effort that all the organisations have done, delivering the price to three NGO’s which we know very well.
Therefore, the Out of The Box Awards 2021 winners were:
- Union of Baltic Cities (UBC), which is one of the leading networks of cities in the Baltic Sea Region with member cities from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Russia and Sweden. More about UBC here: https://www.ubc.net/

- Centre for European Volunteering (CEV), which is the European network of over 60 organisations dedicated to the promotion of, and support to, volunteers and volunteering in Europe at European, national or regional level. More about CEV here: https://www.europeanvolunteercentre.org/
The ceremony, which took place in Maison d’Istrie on June 17th, gathered the winners and a group of 50 people to celebrate the achievements in inclusion, entrepreneurship and innovation.
We would like to thank all the people that joined the event, and the winners for this year’s great job despite difficulties.
