YEU’s KID_ACTIONS European Policy, Research and Practitioners Forum

The KID_ACTIONS Project held the first European Policy, Research and Practitioners Forum between the 29th and 30th of November 2021.

KID_ACTIONS addresses cyberbullying among children and adolescents through interactive education and gamification within formal and non-formal learning settings at the EU level. Through this project we intend to empower young people to recognize and react to cyberbullying, as well as support educators in effectively educating youngsters on the risks and effects of cyberbullying.

This Forum was a hybrid event, taking place in Trento, Italy, and online, during which key policymakers, researchers, industry partners and practitioners working on securing a safer and more empowering digital environment for young people, got together. During this Policy Forum, the provisional result of the project were presented to the relevant stakeholders and they will have the opportunity to provide input and share the best practices to be taken into consideration during the development of the KID_ACTIONS solutions and policy recommendations. The Forum also served to understand the needs of different stakeholders who are dealing with cyberbullying in their fields of practice.

While in Trento we also attended the KID_ACTIONS Mid-Term Project Management Meeting, where we discussed the development of the project and the next steps for KID_ACTIONS.

This was the first time all the project partners met face-to-face since the beginning of this project and we are very excited to have been a part of this event.

Tune back in in December to find out the results of the KID_ACTIONS Policy Forum and how much we enjoyed Trento’s Christmas Markets!
