After the success of the YE in Metlika, and the Experts Meeting in Olhão, it was time for the project partners to meet face-to-face in Bratislava. However health comes first, and with the recent rise of COVID cases in Europe, we adapted and moved our meeting into our old friend – Zoom!
Thus, on the 9th and 10th of November, the project partners met online to discuss the state of the project, how things have evolved up until this point, and the next steps for BNY – Reloaded.
The partnership had the opportunity to discuss the administrative aspects of the projects, such as financial matters and reporting. Moreover, the meeting served to update the partners on the local activities being developed within the scope of the project.
ActionAid and YEU shared some insights on how to boost the #MyInclusiveEurope Campaign, which shares “Real Life Stories” of young generations calling for a more inclusive and open-minded society, and make sure to engage more young people across Europe.
During the second day of the meeting we heard about the experts meeting in Portugal, the local projects being developed there and the influence they have on local communities.
Finally, during this meeting the partners started the conversation about the upcoming Youth Exchange in Olhão in January 2022, and the dissemination event in Brussels in March 2022. Both events will revolve around recommendations for youth workers and youth organisations, as well as policy and decision makers, developed and presented with and by the youngsters involved in the project.
