In the last days of October, Brussels welcomed a very special group of experts for the YEU experts meeting on education. During the 3 days the experts were in Brussels, they had the opportunity to discuss and work together on several topics related to education in which YEU is involved.
One of the points of action of this 3-day meeting was the revision of the ECMA methodology on community engagement, and to give feedback on how to make it more applicable and usable for young people who are becoming activists and have no prior experience in it.
ECMA – the European Changemakers Academy Project – aims to empower young people and strengthen their capacities in becoming changemakers in their local communities through active participation while keeping in mind a bigger perspective of the European community.
During these three days, the experts also had the opportunity to revise YEU PET documents and provide their feedback on the tools developed within the KID_ACTIONS Project.
Finally, because we all missed face-to-face meetings, this was a great weekend to work with some old friends in real life and away from Zoom!
